This historic site of the Monastery makes a remarkable backdrop for a luxury spa wedding in Cyprus. It was built on an earlier stone-age settlement and founded by two brothers, Cosmas and Damianos, who were well known for going around villages caring for those who were unwell. They never took any payment which gave rise to the name of Anargyri – without payment. They became loved for their selfless acts and affectionately known as saints (Ayii).

In the Spring of 2009 the Spa resort opened its doors to present a haven of peace and tranquility. Set in a valley of mature trees, the boutique hotel has 56 rooms which include Double rooms, Spa Suites, Sulphur Spring Suites.

The peaceful sanctuary has dedicated spa facilities in the grounds with therapeutic treatments and a mineral rich spring carrying soothing waters renowned for generations for their healing qualities.

Cuisine from locally grown produce offers all that is best in traditional Cypriot fare. For a touch of class the Cava Gourmet restaurant provides a mediaeval aura and promises you unforgettable wine and a gastronomic evening. Its unique lighting in combination with the flickering candles on the antique 150 year old teak tables creates a warm and intimate ambience.

The village is one of the smallest villages in Cyprus and has a population of around 60. It is also one of the greenest villages in the area, thanks to an abundant supply of spring water, surrounded by citrus groves, almond trees and vineyards. In early spring the almond blossom is a spectacular sight and the orange and lemon trees are laden with fruit.

The beaches, tavernas, market and shops of Polis and Latchi are about a 15-minute drive away, and another few minutes will take you to the edge of the Akamas peninsula. The Paphos forest (home of the Moufflon, the island’s indigenous mountain sheep) is close by and from Coral Bay and Paphos Town it is approximately 40 minutes.

The old monastery church is perfect for couples wishing to have an Anglican or Civil Ceremony.

Terms and Conditions

• A one wedding per day policy is in place.
• 30% deposit is required by the Resort for all Food/Beverage/Accommodation
• The resort is only for adults over 14 years old. Accommodation for families can be arranged in villas within walking distance to the resort and they can use the hotel facilities. Children under 14 years are welcome for the wedding ceremony.
• If the entire resort is booked for the wedding, children below 14 years may stay at the resort.
• Accommodation can be arranged on BB basis and with special rates.
• There are 3 rooms available with disabled access and ramps in the property.  No public disabled toilets available.

• Euro250 – Chapel area venue hire for wedding ceremony (€2 per chair cover)
• Euro50   – donation required to the Church
• Euro100 – Cocktail Reception venue hire at Chapel area
• Euro300 – Dinner Reception venue hire at Amaroulla Restaurant (indoor)
• Euro300 – Dinner Reception venue hire for Cava Restaurant (indoor)
• Euro250 – Dinner Reception venue hire for Pool Area up to 30 persons – from 7pm
• Euro500 – Dinner Reception venue hire for Pool Area for 30-250 persons – from 7pm

Town Hall and/or Church charges

• €282 – Special Marriage Licence Fee payable directly to the Town Hall (for both Civil and Church weddings)
• €350 – Extra charge made by Town Hall to conduct a wedding at the Spa – payable directly to the Town Hall
• €680 – Anglican Church Fee – payable directly to the Anglican Church of Paphos

Spa Wedding Package includes the following – subject to any change made by the resort:

• Booking the time and date of your wedding with the Resort and Town Hall and/or Church
• Confirmation in writing – detailing your exact wedding date and time (you do not have to wait until you arrive in resort)
• Complete and accurate care of all legal documentation which will be checked before arrival in Cyprus
• Personal meeting at the Spa normally the day after arrival to finalise your wedding plans and to double check your paperwork after which we will go to the Town Hall for the application appointment
• Pre-booked appointment at the Town Hall to obtain your Marriage Licence
• Assistance at the Town Hall to present your documents
• Pre-booked appointment with relevant church officials if applicable
• All appointments will be emailed to you before arrival to give reassurance
• Pre-booked return transport accompanied by your wedding planner to pick you up and take you to the Town Hall for your Wedding Licence.  Applications must be made in person in resort.
• Long bouquet of roses and lilies for the Bride – or Bride’s choice
• Rose buttonhole for the Groom to match colour theme
• Two Round Bridesmaids Rose Posies– to match colour theme
• 6 rose buttonholes – to match colour theme
• Bridal Hair and Make-up on the wedding day for the Bride
• Two-tier wedding cake
• One bottle of local sparkling wine for ‘Toast’ to the Bride and Groom
• BBQ Dinner Menu for 25 persons (other sit down menus available on request and difference in price)
• 55 photos, 15cmx20cm, proofs review, photos in wedding album, CD of the 55 photos chosen including a photo release letter.   Photographer will welcome you at the wedding venue to take pictures of the Groom and guests arriving, will capture the Bride’s arrival and entrance to the wedding, photos throughout the wedding, group photos afterwards, photos of the couple in the grounds,  including any requested shots, he will also be present throughout the traditional Cutting of the Cake and Toast to the Bride and Groom.
