Fees for Civil Ceremonies in Cyprus
Marriage Licence fees are set by the Cypriot government and as such are subject to changes by them.
The current Cypriot Government fees are listed below, are not included in any package, and are to be paid directly to the Town Hall at the application appointment. Where stated some Town Halls accept Visa, otherwise if you prefer not to carry this amount of cash with you travelling you can send it by bank transfer to us closer to your arrival date and we will pay the relevant Town Hall on your behalf with you in attendance.
The charge for the Special Marriage Licence includes a civil ceremony at the Town Hall, if you have chosen this option. If you choose to have a Church ceremony the charge is the Marriage Licence fee plus the Church fee.

Civil ceremonies are conducted in exactly the same way regardless of where they take place. Town Halls often have both beautiful outside venues and air-conditioned rooms which will be welcome in the Cyprus heat, making the Town Hall venue option financially more practical. Hotels may also charge for use of their venues, Chapels and Gazebos and these are varied and subject to change.
