Notes

  • Scottish and Welsh citizens should apply for a Certificate of No Impediment from their local registrar office.  This is in place of an Affidavit, it’s similar,  just called by a different name and is used for Scottish and Welsh citizens.
  • Irish passport holders require a Freedom to Marry Certificate obtained from the Minister for Foreign Affairs in Ireland or the Irish Embassy in London.  The Consular Section at the Embassy of Ireland in London will issue these to Irish citizens resident in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.  It is valid for 120 days after issue.
  • Foreign Nationals/Residents in UAE or elsewhere – please contact us for legal requirements and depending  on your length of stay in Cyprus you may choose any package – Wedding Packages
  • In the case of non-Cypriot passport holders who have been resident in Cyprus for more than one year, a confirmation certificate from the Ministry of Interior in Nicosia is also needed and its date of issue should be within 2 months of the wedding date.
  • Norwegian and Swedish Nationals, please contact us for relevant legal documentation
  • For any other countries, please check with your Embassy to determine if additional authorisation, an apostille or other, is required.  Alternatively, please contact us.
