Protaras Wedding Venues

Protaras is found on the South East coast of Cyprus and comes under the jurisdiction of Paralimni Municipality.  Paralimni, in Greek, means ‘by the lake’ as it was built on the shores of a shallow lake which filled with water only in winter.  The old city-state of Leukolla, with its small safe harbour is where Protaras stands today.

The Athenian, Demetrius Poliorketes, in 306BC sought refuge in the harbour lying in wait for Ptolemaios, one of Alexander the Great’s successors.  Ptolomeos was defeated and fled to Egypt.  Protaras is known for its fabulous beaches of fine sand, Fig Tree Bay in particular, and is perfect for families and couples alike.

The following are suggested venues only, there are many options and you are free to choose wherever you wish.  We will be doing our Administration Only package, no planner, for any venue of your choice which will cover all your required legal paperwork assistance, help you book, and you can pay the venue/suppliers directly keeping your costs down considerably.
