Limassol Wedding Venues
Located on the South coast of Cyprus in Akrotiri Bay, Limassol lies between the ancient towns of Amathus and Curium. The amphitheatre at Ancient Curium, with impressive views over the Mediterranean, still plays host to regular Shakespeare productions and concerts. The yearly Wine Festival is held in September and is a showcase for the local wine industry attracting thousands of visitors. The Carnival in February is not to be missed! You’ll be in great company as Limassol was the royal wedding venue for Richard the Lionheart and Queen Berengeria who, in 1191, were married in the Chapel of St George in the Old Town of Limassol.
The following are suggested venues only, there are many options and you are free to choose wherever you wish. We will be doing our Administration Only package, no planner, for any venue of your choice which will cover all your required legal paperwork assistance, help you book, and you can pay the venue/suppliers directly keeping your costs down considerably.
Yermasoyia Cultural Centre is situated in the village of Yermasoyia approximately 10 minutes drive from Limassol town. The Cultural Centre has been renovated with traditional stone-work including an amphitheatre in beautifully kept gardens and an air-conditioned wedding room. It will hold up to around 40 people comfortably. This venue also gives you the wonderful opportunity to have your photos with an amphitheatre as a backdrop. There is a new pergola in the garden area should you wish to have an outdoors wedding. There is disabled access all throughout the grounds with only one step into the wedding room itself.
Eléa Estate Golf Club Terrace This is perhaps one of the most stunningly beautiful venues you could imagine! The views from the Eléa Estate Terraces are breathtaking! Have your Wedding, Cocktails and BBQ on the Terrace with spectacular scenery looking out over the Golf Course towards the Mediterranean. It will most certainly add the “WOW” factor to your Cyprus Wedding!
Private Cyprus Wine Museum Wedding Looking for something a little different? Approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the main hotel area of Limassol, have your Private Cyprus Wine Museum wedding and hold your reception in their beautiful stone courtyard. Entertain your guests with a complimentary wine tour and optional wine tasting! Minutes away from Kolossi Castle which was built in 1454 and a former stronghold of the Crusaders, it makes a stunning photo opportunity! Winter weddings may be held by the fire-place for up to 20 persons.
St Barnabas Anglican Church A Cypriot by birth, the Apostle St Barnabas, together with St Paul, founded the Christian Church in Cyprus in the first century AD. St Barnabas Church was completed in 1915 and is situated in the heart of Limassol old town approximately 20 minutes drive from most of the hotel areas. It is fully air-conditioned with a capacity of up to 100 people. Suitable for disabled access.
The Winery Experience A truly unique fine dining experience! Weddings in the grounds of the winery or in the wine cellar itself are available and dinner to be held in the château-like building. Approximately a 15-20 minute drive from Limassol, away from the coast so a little cooler, it is a large area so numbers are not an issue. Suite for the duration of the wedding. The suite is also available for the Bride and Groom for overnight use with breakfast in the winery if you wish and bookable well in advance. Suitable for disabled access.

Your Marriage Licence needs to be arranged byYermasoyia Municipality in Limassol. The All Saints Chapel was built to resemble early Christian buildings and is small but seating is available outside. Mediterranean Beach Hotel is located 5 minutes from central Limassol and within half a mile from the ancient ruined city of Amathounta reached by a beachfront pathway overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Both the Gazebo and Pavilion have views over the sea and have a capacity of 30 persons. The Mediterranean has a one wedding per day policy.
The St Raphael Resort Hotel Chapel was built in 2006 close to the executive wing pool with a magnificent view of the sea and marina. The floor was completed by hand by local artists using marble and glass mosaics. Inside, the tradition of icons has been combined with beautiful stained glass windows and wood with the chapel itself sitting in a stone amphitheatre. The hotel will normally only accept one wedding per day.
